As the New Year approaches, the Federal Emergency Management Agency's Ready Campaign is once again reminding people to Resolve to be Ready in 2010. While nearly 50 percent of Americans make New Year's Eve resolutions, very few manage to keep them. The Ready Campaign would like to make an emergency preparedness resolution easy to keep by providing the tools and resources needed to take the three important steps: get a kit, make a plan and be informed about the different types of emergencies that can happen in your area and their appropriate responses. We hope you will join the Ready Campaign this Holiday Season in promoting Resolve to be Ready.

On this page you will find a toolkit to help your organization develop internal and external messages to encourage your members, employees, constituents, customers and community to make a New Year's resolution to prepare for emergencies. You will also find Web banners for your organization's Web site, a sample E-mail and a Newsletter you can share with your key constituents.

The MIT Enterprise Forum (MITEF) was formed in 1978 as a non-profit volunteer organization that promotes world-class innovation and business growth through its executive education programs, workshops, events and advocacy activities. The Forum offers provocative new ideas, business frameworks and professional networking opportunities to senior business leaders interested in enhancing their personal and corporate business performance.

The Enterprise Forum produces a series of educational programs focused on entrepreneurship through a network of 24 worldwide chapters and through programs such as the Global Broadcast Series, which is available for viewing live via satellite at a variety of locations.

Program and volunteer participation is encouraged and open to all regardless of alma mater. Participants come from a wide range of backgrounds including, MIT Alumni, students, parents, non-alumni, entrepreneurs and innovators. All are invited to participate in Forum activities.

The Illinois Technology Association (ITA) is committed to developing an environment in which technology companies can flourish in an increasingly competitive marketplace. The ITA is a regional industry trade association headquartered in Chicago and serving all of Illinois. The ITA provides members with access to connections, information and promotional opportunities to improve business locally, regionally and nationally.

Already more than 550 members-strong, the ITA connects technology organizations that focus on travel, data management, telecommunications, navigation, sales enablement, and much more.

The Illinois Hispanic Chamber of Commerce (IHCC) is the principal voice for the more than 45,000 Hispanic owned businesses in the State of Illinois. IHCC promotes the growth and success of Hispanic firms and serves as a strong advocate for business issues

Established in 1989, the Business Resumption Planners Association (BRPA) is an independent professional association of people employed in all aspects of disaster recovery, contingency and business continuity planning.
Located in the greater Chicago area, we are a not-for-profit association dedicated to education and information exchange. Membership is open to all professionals interested in contingency planning, disaster recovery, crisis management and related fields.
BRPA meets 6 to 8 times per year at various city and suburban locations throughout the Chicago metropolitan area. Educational programs include speakers, round tables and panel discussions.
Special events include a holiday luncheon and a golf outing.

HFTP is the international professional association serving members working in hospitality. Since 1952, HFTP has been dedicated to providing members with extraordinary networking opportunities, industry-leading certification programs and events, and essential resources for professional growth.

In 2004 HexiSTOR joined HFTP they participates in monthly meetings (both in Illinois & Florida). Since 2007 HexiSTOR DPS has been an exhibitor at the June HITEC (Hospitality Industry Technology Exposition & Conference).
